1/ The location
About 12 kilometers to the northeast of Sapa Town, there is an imposing limestone mountain belonging to Hoang Lien Son Mountain. On which, there is a cave named Ta Phin. This name derives from the fact that it is located in Ta Phin Village, where is the place of residence of most Dao and H’mong people in Sapa.

Ta Phin Cave is quite small with about 5 meters in height and about 3 meters in width. Its entrance is the way leading to an underground path.
